Also to be explored are a few vinyasa transitions.
Investment: $40 and $36 for Shanti Pass Members
Bio:
Aaron Krohn was first introduced to the practice of yoga in the summer of 2005 while visiting Mexico and seeking relief from debilitating chronic lower back pain. He got more than he bargained for that first day, but despite muscle soreness that seemed to permeate his entire body he returned for more and has been practicing since. His formal training includes a 200 hour teacher training with Agnes Busch/Om Shanti, Ashtanga teacher training with Tim Miller, and meditation and pranayama training with Belize’s very own Yogi Charu. In addition to these trainings Aaron has participated in workshops with teachers like Mark Robberds, Chandana Bhowmick, Gokulacandra Das (Jani Jaatinen), Alexandra Santos and Vinnie Marino. More recently Aaron has been incorporating kinetic stretching into his physical routine.
Aaron’s teaching style and background are primarily rooted in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, though he has been exploring the more subtle aspects of yoga recently, especially pranayama (breath control), dharana (concentration), pratyhara (sense withdrawal) and dhyana (meditation). The practice of yoga, if done correctly and consistently, can reveal itself to be far more than a form of physical exercise. It is also not limited to the flexible and strong. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga.
